About the course

Roles, Responsibility, and Shared Workload helps teams build clarity without hierarchy and structure without burnout. This training shows how clear roles, shared responsibility, and transparent decision-making protect people from hidden labor, resentment, and exhaustion; especially those most impacted by the work. Designed for organizers, collaborators, and community leaders, this training centers collective care, disability justice, and anti-racist practice. Participants learn how to distribute work intentionally, prevent unspoken responsibility from piling up on the same people, and ensure impacted voices are centered in decisions without extracting unpaid labor. This training is ideal for teams who want to work together sustainably  (without relying on urgency, martyrdom, or one person holding everything together).  Developed by Trans Empowerment Project, it offers practical frameworks that make collaboration clearer, fairer, and more humane.
